... and become part of this historical preservation effort!

Below you will see the hundreds of individuals and dozens of organizations that have contributed to this project, helping to save the priceless memories of classic Las Vegas. Many have shared their time, their stories and their hard-earned money to help get us this far. However, we still have a long way to go, and we need your help. Many participants have told us not only of their own unique experiences in Las Vegas, but equally important, they have shared the stories of their parents' and grandparents' lives. As each voice makes the history of Las Vegas more complete, we are interested in leads to interesting life stories from the people who watched Las Vegas grow from a dusty spot on the map into one of world's most legendary towns -- people like yourself. If you think you have a story that sheds light on the enduring spirit of Las Vegas, please contact us.

Your Contribution is Priceless

Sharing your stories isn't only way you can help preserve the history of Las Vegas. Part of our efforts involve a state-of-the-art preservation of home movies, personal photographs and transcribed interviews, all digitized onto DVDs and CDs. This archival work can only be completed with the financial assistance of concerned individuals and private organizations. Be one of them. As all of the archived material will be donated to the Lied Library's Special Collections at the University of Nevada, your donations make these untold stories accessible to the public for the first time, and available for decades to come. Please help us preserve the history of Las Vegas by making a financial contribution. No matter how small, your contribution is priceless. The past as well as future generations of Las Vegans thank you.
