Lynn Zook, Producer
lynn@classiclasvegas.com
Raised in Las Vegas, a graduate of the USC School of Cinema and Television Masters of Fine Arts program, Lynn is an accomplished award- winning producer and editor. She blends her talents as a filmmaker, preservationist and archivist and it is her love for her hometown that is the driving force behind this project.
"The Story of Classic Las Vegas began because the real history of Las Vegas is more than imploded hotels and star-studded revisionism. Having grown up here with family and friends that remain here still, I share a perspective of the town that has not been addressed by the majority of documentaries currently available. In talking with my family and friends I realized that they had seen and been responsible for, in vastly under realized ways, the growth of Las Vegas over the last 60 years. In a city that is growing daily and old-timers now seem measured in months instead of years, they remember their town, its history and its colorful characters. These stories must not be lost."
